Great food. Mahi Mahi lemon butter caper sauce is the best.

We came here for the good reviews we found on the internet. The place is small, noisy, and does not look very clean. The food, however, was amazing. The fish is fresh and full of flavours, and the plates come with a side of rice and a side of veggies or mac salad. I really recommend this place to all visitors and tourists.

Wonderful food, very reasonable prices for Maui, huge portions easily serve 2. Take out best option as located in tiny storefront in a small strip mall. Parking can be a challenge.

Best coconut shrimp ever!

Vegi noodles were really good. I normally don't like black bean sause but this was light and tasty. I will be back.

Sometimes you find a place so amazing you immediately plan your return trip. This is that place. Price-to-value ratio is off the charts and the staff is super friendly. Seating is tight so get it to go or sit outside. Parking is easy. This is a don't-miss in the area, so find a way to get here.

We drove here fleeing the captivity of whalers village. Loco moco hit the spot. Value for money. Family run so supporting local community. Seating is sparse but we were lucky and most are doing take out.

Great taste. Well worth the trip here. Bring a herfty appetite so you can pick up a few things. Good portions. Cash only, so be sure to keep that in mind. Feel free to ask staff for recommendations. Bbq chicken with teriyaki sauce, rice and mac salad was good. So was chicken stir fry. Sorry.. it was so good that all you get are pictures as we came up for air ;-)

Excellent, reasonably priced takeout spot. Teriyaki steak was delicious and the smaller (6 oz) portion was plenty. Spicy peel and eat shrimp were cooked just right. Burgers and fries looked good, of course. Stuck with stir fried veggies and rice for sides, little much for oil but tasted good. Highly recommend if you’re in the area and tired of being gouged on prices and quality.

This place was awesome! We stayed at Papakea and I walked here. Had the coconut crusted mahi mahi and coconut shrimp, both were amazing. Food was ready in about 5 minutes

I have been eating here every time I’m on Maui for the last 20 years I think. First place I go! Their beef teriyaki is tender and cooked to perfection. Mahi Mahi with lemon caper butter sauce rivals any fine dining restaurant. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Maui!

One of the best meals we've had on Maui. Generous portions, excellent ingredients, expertly prepared and served fast with an Aloha attitude. The Szechuan Eggplant is super.

Best plate lunch on this side of town. Portions very generous too!!! Ordered two plate lunches and had plenty for 2 adults and 2 kids.

Another excellent recommendation by Randy, the bellman. Thanks to previous yelp reviews for letting us know that this is a takeout kind of a place which worked out perfect for us. Hubby wanted the Kung Pao Shrimp where as I wanted to try their Mahi with lemon caper sauce. I called and placed the order when my husband left the resort. The lady who took my order was very nice and helpful. I asked for extra lemon caper sauce after reading wonderful reviews about it. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. My husband’s Kung Pao Shrimp was loaded with shrimp and packed with flavor. My Mahi was so very tasty and such a generous portion I ended up having it for lunch the next day too. Asking for that extra sauce was such a good idea. I am so glad I asked Randy for his recommendations. Locals always know the best places to eat. Not once has his recommendations stirred us wrong. Highly recommended!

This is a must, been comingbtilo the island 18 years and can't remember when I started coming but it's the best mom pop shop on island. The staff takes care of you and you get your food fast freshly cooked. Every year I look forward to the food now more then the island! But I enjoyed the rest when I'm here. The Barnetts

Good menu and good food. You get a lot too. I recommend ordering ahead as they can be really busy and it can take awhile to get your food. Also, it was cash only when we were there.

The hostess was very attentive and helpful, but especially friendly. Just remember to bring cash. There's no credit card payment accepted. They have a cash machine there, but it looks very old (not secured). Overall the food and experience five stars.

Firecracker mahi mahi and shrimp was amazing!

Now this place is small but ideal for takeout to eat back in your room or anywhere along the beach or adjacent beach park weather permitting. Avoid the wait in the hot n humid establishment by calling in your order is also the ideal way to go. The young lady taking your order was also so pleasant and friendly that I felt right at home and assured that the food and order would be on point.

if you happen to be up in this area (farmers market and the fishing supply store nearby), this is a good little place to get a quick “Plate Lunch”.  I thought it was much better than Aloha Mixed Plate. Don’t know why. It just tasted so good.

I’ve been coming to Okazuya for 20 years since I moved into the Honokowai Sunrise in 1998 and it’s still easily my favorite place on the island. The teri steak is absolutely incredible and still tastes the same as it did back then. Do yourself a favor and stop by Okazuya and try it out.

Fish is great, “world famous chicken” was not memorable. Overall great for the cost and a good indicator if the famous and overpriced Mama’s fish house is worth it. Considering the head chef here is a ex-chef from Mama’s fish house, we thought we’d give it a try. I’m glad I paid $17 for fish here instead of $50 at Mamas. Because it wasn’t mind blowing, we canceled our reservation at Mamas and decided to try other places.

Stopped by here and tried out the loco moco and fish n chips. The portions were big. The loco moco was really good too.

Always went here as a go to but just a heads up, I recently got food poisoning from here. Never going again.

Easy and fast pan-Asian takeout. CASH ONLY. Careful with the food containers, they fall apart.

When I lived I Maui this was my favorite place to eat. Everything I had was delicious!
